Why Settle?…..
Why is it some people instead of waiting for love that is real and true settle with whatever is around? I’ve never understood that. people who have told me how amazing they wanted it to be now tell me “well… I’m getting older….blah….blah….blah….” when hello they’re not even in their mid 20’s I just think it’s sad to see people I love settling for something they have told me themselves they don’t want.
The other day my grandmother told me a couple of years ago that eventually you stop feeling butterfly’s for the man you love, which is a total lie because some people never stop making your stomach flip. she settled and is now bitter about almost everything having to do with love.
so when people ask me why I don’t date some of the guys who ask me out this is why. I don’t want to make the same mistake that I know others have by settling for something I never even wanted.
